Our weekend was anything but boring! Last Wednesday Tyler was outside playing with the girls and his friend, and ran through the side yard where Marty had been burning yard debris several days earlier. Little did we all know that the embers would still be red hot after Marty had buried them. So as Tyler ran through the dirt his foot sank into the embers, which got into his shoe, and badly burned his foot. At first we didn't think it was so bad, but Saturday Robbie realized that the burns were worse then we thought. So we took him to Urgent Care and sure enough he has 2nd degree burns!

Tyler is doing so much better over the last several days, we've had to change the dressing daily and he's beginning to walk on that foot. I think we've all learned our lesson on fire pits!!
